Air Cars (or, as this fellow says, "Ayuh Caahz")

Well, it's the 21st century. And though I was promised flying cars, this still struck me as pretty cool:


If the car can't fly through the air, at least it can run on it.

    Very, very cool.

    Now let's just hope the patents aren't bought by the big petroleum companies so they can sit on them forever... err... I mean continue to develop them in a professional environment, of course.

    that al-oo-minium car would crumple like a soda can in an accident. other than that, this sounds neat.

    makes me wonder what other modern technologies could be re-invented better...

    Just about anything else you're driving will crumple like a soda can too.

    Still, this is very cool. I would love to see an honest to God air engine so we can flip a collective finger to Opec.
