Revenge on the Hunter

I'm really not sure what's worse:

1) That Disney actually has just released a Bambi 2 movie direct to video.

2) That Patrick Stewart was convinced to provide a voice for it. (Has he no shame?)

3) That in its first week on the market, it outsold the brilliant and amazing Wallace & Gromit movie.

re: Reason 2.

Job? Check. (according to IMDB, he's not doing much at the moment other than X3.
Paycheck? Check.
Shame? What's that?

asguvuqd was my CAPTCHA. Is it me, or are they getting longer?

I'm going to bet that he does a LOT of voice work in the next 10 years.

Mr Stewart's now in a mainstream spooky/sci-fi/derivative crap show on the commercial terrestrial channel here. It's the 9pm slot where they pay a lot for a popular actor and hang the quality of the writing. Destined for obscurity!

Best quote regarding this movie since it's only goint to be onsale for 80 days:

"That's 80 days too many"

BTW... with the Pixar people taking over Disney animation - they're going to stop these stupid sequels. They've already put the kibosh on Toy Story 3.

Oh, and I bet Wallace & Grommit will do better after it wins the Oscar for Best Animated Motion Picture in two weeks.

If it's any consolation, Wallace and Gromit will probably pick up the Oscar for best animated film. I say this not having seen Howl's Moving Castle and basing it on the fact that Miyazaki has already won a best animated film Oscar.
