New Adjustments

The place where I work just moved offices this week, a relocation into a larger space elsewhere in the building. Along with the new digs came new desks, chairs, and other furnishings.

Attached to all the new chairs was this manual explaining how to adjust all the controls:

Can you imagine what the world would be like if all user manuals were shaped like the products for which they're providing instructions?

When we got "the chairs" in the Decipher office, three employees of the chair company came by, dressed as flight attendants and serving snacks, to give us our "flight instructions" for the chairs. That beats a funky-shaped manual any day.

Were those the see-through, fishnet chairs?
(Not as sexy as it sounds, guys.)
Damn, I missed the show. That must have been a couple of years before I showed up, but not a lot more, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, it was when I was there, either 96 or 97.
