Plus One

From the "I've got nothing else to talk about tonight" department:

Why are there eleven individual candies in a five-flavor roll of Life Savers? That math just doesn't work. Ten makes sense; two of each. Or hell, if there were twelve or thirteen candies in there... some number that wasn't almost perfectly round, thus not toying with your expectations.

obviously for the same reason they sell hot dogs in packs of 10, and hot dog buns in packs of 8.

So that you have to buy two rolls to get an even number.

It's the sneaky way to get more money out of all the OCD type folks.

It was a woman that decided the number of flavors and a guy that decided the number in each pack. Both bad at math, both wearing shoes.
