In my opinion, the people in
these forums are missing much of the point when they watch Lost. To my mind, if you're scrutinizing every frame of every episode so thoroughly as to:
- Figure out what "drippy Walt" is saying in reverse,
- Spot the Dharma logo on the shark in the one frame of screen time it's visible, and
- Counting and cataloguing all the times the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 43 appear,
then it's likely most of the actual drama -- the heart of the show, I think -- is flying by you completely.

I did notice a rather visible trainer's hand in the scene with Sawyer, Kate, and the horse. But that's just a flub.
I agree with you, Evan. This crowd is an exaggeration of the skeptics of whom one said of an episode last season, "And what's the big problem in this episode? Jin and Sun's marriage. How exciting."
This reminds me of the crowd of malcontents who want Star Trek to come back. All they want back are the details -- the transporters, the
ships, the costumes, the (tedious two-dimensional) aliens. They don't
really care about good stories -- just 'splosions and the 4,985th fake
nose Michael Westmore concocted while sobbing quietly.
It's a pity. These so-called fanatics are letting a perfectly good show pass right under their noses.
Has anyone else noticed that during EVERY SINGLE EPISODE at the 4 minute, 8 minute, 15 minutes, 16 minutes, 23rd minute and 42nd minute Locke appears on the screen by himself?
Actually, I haven't either. But it would be Goddamn funny to get this started and make these nerdburglars watch them all again with stopwatches.
Heh hehe hehe
