Brian Setzer (of the Stray Cats, and front-man of the oh-so-humbly named Brian Setzer Orchestra) use to do "rockabilly" music. Then he did big band swing.
But now, apparently all he does is Christmas albums. One right after another.
I was pretty surprised when I saw the new one, because I knew he'd done one just a few years ago. I have the first one. It's a nice collection of "hipper" Christmas music. I don't know whether I think, "Yay! More cool Christmas music" or "Hmmm. Did we really need another one?" It might be really good, but I think I'd rather have another non-holiday album from him.
I saw it while I was picking out music to take to the hospital in the lamaze bag. I couldn't really imagine listening to Brian Setzer while I was in labor. :)
