It's official. Serenity, June 23rd, 35 cities. Including Charlotte, for those of you who've recently relocated there. And Indianapolis. And all the cities that had one last time, for those of you who missed it previously.
The tickets will likely be on sale Thursday morning, so get clicking like you're sniping an eBay auction. And good luck!

Holy crap! They actually are having a showing in Salt Lake. Now I don't have to be 100% jealous of you.
Don't keep me in suspense... did you actually get any tickets during the approximately 147 seconds they were available before they sold out?
Actually, I scared myself because tickets weren't on sale when I originally saw your post. So I periodically checked as the morning went on and finally around 11am I saw them.
I knew of at least 3 other friends who would want to go with me so I quickly punched in that I wanted 4 tickets and attempted to checkout. Fandango had my credit card information stored so I just clicked okay and waited... and got a screen saying they were sold out.
But I in my haste to click 'purchase' I had briefly noticed that they had my old billing zip code and thought (hoped) "Maybe that isn't true - maybe there was just an error in charging my credit card."
So I went through the process again, only by this time I guess everyone and their dog knew tickets were on sale so Fandango was taking forever to respond. I was desperately clicking on links in an effort to get the site to load faster.
A friend of mine (who I knew would want to go) was online by this time, so I had him simulataneously attempt to buy tickets, in case one of us could get to them faster. Once or twice I got errors when attempting to load the ticket-purchasing page and was getting really nervous.
I finally got to click on the showtime, put in the number of tickets I wanted, and clicked to change my billing address. I then clicked on purchase and waited... and waited... and it took forever to load...
...and the long and short of it is that me and five friends will be seeing a special advance preview of Serenity on June 23. w00t!
(How was that for suspense? :)
Yes, I saw. But there are issues. I'll explain when I'm less tired.
Well done, David!!! Congrats, you lucky man, you.
Here in Denver, I couldn't possibly hope to defeat the legions of Browncoats and scalpers that were waiting for the second the tickets went live. I didn't get any tickets. But I've seen the movie twice already, so I'm not at all complaining.
