The New Dave Chappelle?

Meet Comedy Central's newest star: Ken Jennings???

It was only a matter of time before someone snatched up the Mormon Trivia Robot to host a game show. I just never figured it would be Comedy Central. After all, you could use many words to describe this guy. Hypnotic. Frightening. Creepy. But funny? I guess we'll see once this as-yet-untitled, as-yet-formatless game show hits the airwaves.

In the meantime, it seems to be a good thing for MTR that he inked this deal already. He's sort of getting his ass kicked in the Mega Champion Tournament Thingy on Jeopardy! right now. There's another contestant that seems to be even faster on the trigger than him, and has command of even more useless knowledge. And this other guy is doubly scary, since he completely ran a category on Guns and Ammo in today's installment.

What kind of game show do you suppose they'd give him?

they might be reviving Win Ben Stein's Money, but with KenJen? they also had that Beat the Geeks show I guess he would fit in. I keep waiting for them to do a Climbing for Dollars (although their Distraction is very close...)

A new spin on Win Ben Stein's Money would be good, but the greatness of that show can't be duplicated without Jimmy Kimmel or Ben Stein. Still a possibility.

Urban legend has it that Jeopardy! is merely a matter of memorizing pre-informed questions that match the answers on the board. Is this true?

Well, I guess "Win Ken Jennings' Money" would be an appropriate fit, but I don't think it would make for much of a contest. The average schmoe would get totally bowled over. KJ would basically never lose. At least Stein gave up some money every now and then.

Doctor, need I remind you that a Mormon Trivia Robot is only as smart as its programming?
